High School Art Projects 2015

SeymourDoMore is a project-based video showcase of how-to art projects for high school art teachers to use.

Art students from Grand View University's Seymour Art Club demonstrate how they created some of their favorite works in both digital and traditional media and also talk about why they have chosen to follow their passions and pursue a degree in art!

We invite you to view the monthly videos and then create your own classroom projects using them as a base. Your students can then submit their own corresponding projects at SeymourDoMore and compete for art-related prizes … and some recognition!  See below for projects, prizes, rules and the submission form.

More Information
January Project: Funky Character in Illustrator

Mujo Ramic is a senior majoring in graphic design. He is passionate about illustration and his degree program has allowed him to refine his skills. In this video he shows you how to create a funky character with a lot of personality using Adobe Illustrator. What we love about Mujo's work is the originality of the characters he creates. His technical skills are impressive, but his imagination is wild! Create your very own character, in the medium of your choice, and submit an image of it.

Submissions must be received by January 31, 2015, using the official submission form, below.
